Enhanced services include outpatient substance use treatment and mental health counseling to support Veterans, first responders, their adult family members, and the general public
Manchester, NH, April 1, 2026 – In response to a growing demand for comprehensive behavioral health care across New Hampshire, Behavioral Health Services by Easterseals NH (formerly Farnum Center) has grown its outpatient substance use treatment and mental health counseling programs at its Lake Avenue office in Manchester.
The programs now provide timely, coordinated care for members of the general public, in addition to Veterans, first responders, and their adult family members.
“Our goal is to meet people where they are on their own individual journey, whatever that may look like for them,” said Amy Joslin, Senior Vice President of Business Process and Compliance for Easterseals NH & VT. “We offer a full continuum of care, so that anyone seeking support can access the services best suited to meet their individual needs.”
Key services currently available at the Lake Avenue office include:
- Substance Use Treatment: Outpatient one-on-one therapy, or Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP), which includes nine hours per week of group therapy.
- Mental Health Counseling: Individual therapy for Veterans and the general public, addressing trauma, daily life adjustments, stressors, and other challenges.
- Specialized Evaluations: Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) evaluations for court or Division for Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) referrals, as well as Impaired Driver Service Provider (IDSP) evaluations to support recovery and license reinstatement.
Services are available both in-person and via telehealth, delivered by a licensed clinical team with more than 80 years of combined experience. Comprehensive case management and recovery support help each client achieve lasting success.
Behavioral Health Services by Easterseals NH will also establish a presence at the Easterseals NH Military & Veterans Campus in Franklin, with outpatient substance use treatment and psychiatric medication management services expected to better serve Veterans, first responders, and their families.
