Community Participation

Serving over 200 individuals statewide, Easterseals has established partnerships with community stakeholders to provide meaningful opportunities for individuals to pursue their goals and interests while acquiring new skills and abilities. We place a high value on ensuring we offer services in integrated settings that include paid work, volunteer work, and recreational activities. We have demonstrated successful outcomes in securing paid employment for our customers and believe anyone can obtain paid employment if they are interested in working.

Participants like Ryan are achieving their goals through work, such as at The Ark Learning Center. Through the support of his CBS team, Ryan feels confident about learning new skills and looks forward to a bright future.

Stories from our Members

We encourage and advocate for independence for individuals in our programs. One of the ways we do this is by connecting our program participants with experiences in the community. Read below how Mike, Ryan, and Justin are living life to the fullest.
