Easterseals NH Acquires Property for its Growing Transportation Program

Growing Transportation Program Gets New Home – Recently, Easterseals NH purchased a building at 782 Gold Street in Manchester, NH to house its growing Transportation Services Program. The new facility’s large parking lot will not only provide the opportunity to expand the program’s fleet of specially-equipped vehicles, but its additional office and garage space will also allow Easterseals NH to hire more staff and gain an edge in an increasingly competitive job market. Annually, Easterseals NH provides transportation to more than 900 individuals of all abilities.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Manchester, NH, February 1, 2024– Easterseals NH has acquired a property at 782 Gold Street in South Manchester, the site of the former J.D. Byrider car dealership. The space will serve as the new home of the agency’s Transportation Services program, further establishing its status as a provider of choice for demand response and special education student transportation in the community.

The acquisition was finalized with the property’s seller, Group Property Holdings Corp. of Manchester, on January 12 at Easterseals NH’s Auburn Street offices. All operations within the Transportation Services program are expected to move into the Gold Street space later in February.

The new facility’s large parking lot will not only provide the opportunity to expand the program’s fleet of specially-equipped vehicles, but its additional office and garage space will also allow Easterseals NH to hire more staff and gain an edge in an increasingly competitive job market.

“Moving our program into Gold Street will help streamline our processes within the program by increasing communication and bringing the team all together under one roof,” said Angelique Pandolph, Director of Transportation for Easterseals NH. “The implications of that include shorter lead times with getting vehicles repaired, enhanced employee morale, and a better location logistically. The new location provides quick and convenient highway access, shorter routes to most of the schools in the district, and improved visibility and marketing exposure.”

Easterseals NH fosters independence by providing transportation to more than 900 individuals of all abilities annually, including curb-to-curb transportation for special education students within the Manchester School District, a service it has provided for more than four decades.

“With the added space, we can form new revenue streams by branching out to new regions and hosting driver training courses,” Pandolph said. “The new facility will also add value to the entire organization by providing the opportunity to diversify its portfolio and build equity.”
