Easterseals NH & VT Appoints Jo Brown of Franklin to Board

Former Mayor Appointed to Easterseals NH & VT Board of Directors – Easterseals NH & VT has appointed Jo Brown to the Board of Directors. Brown was most recently the Mayor of Franklin, NH.

Manchester, NH, March 26, 2024–Easterseals NH & VT has appointed Jo Brown to the Board of Directors. Brown was most recently the Mayor of Franklin, NH, where she resides.

“We are very pleased to welcome Jo Brown to the Easterseals NH & VT board,” said Maureen Beauregard, President and CEO. “As a fourth-generation veteran, she has a special appreciation for the work our organization does to support service members, veterans, and their families. She has been a staunch advocate and partner in the development of our new Military and Veterans Campus in Franklin, and I am confident that as a Board member her insight will be invaluable.”

Brown is a Retired Active Duty Air Force officer with over 22 years of military service. After retirement, she worked 12 years for USAA at their headquarters in San Antonio, TX and in 2011 returned with her family to her hometown of Franklin, NH. Since returning, she has volunteered with several non-profit and service organizations and has served on the Planning Board and the Franklin City Council. She completed her term as Mayor of Franklin in January 2024. She is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire.

About the Easterseals NH Military & Veterans Campus
Now under construction in Franklin, the Easterseals NH Military & Veterans Campus will be a first of its kind in the Granite State. A true center of excellence backed by research and community engagement, the offerings on the 15-acre campus will make a positive impact for military members, veterans, and their families. Working in partnership with Governor Chris Sununu, NH Executive Council, and the State of New Hampshire, Easterseals NH & VT is developing affordable housing and a retreat center to be co-located with a hub of services and recreational components tailored to the needs and culture of the military community.
