Event Raises Nearly $50,000 in Support of the Easterseals NH Military & Veterans Campus

Portsmouth, NH — July 10, 2026Easterseals NH & VT hosted the 2026 Striped Bass Tournament on Friday, July 3, from sunrise to 11:30 a.m., drawing 78 anglers from across New Hampshire and the Seacoast. The catch-and-release tournament raised nearly $50,000 to benefit the Easterseals NH Military & Veterans Campus and the programs and services it provides for military members, Veterans, first responders, and their families.

Held as part of Portsmouth’s 250 Extravaganza celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary, the tournament offered participants an opportunity to enjoy a day on the water while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who have served our nation and our communities.

“We are incredibly grateful to our primary sponsors — Wilcox Industries, Holloway GMC Cadillac, and M&T Bank — whose generosity made this tournament possible,” said Maureen Beauregard, President & CEO of Easterseals NH & VT. “Their commitment to our military members, Veterans, first responders, and their families is a powerful reflection of New Hampshire’s spirit of service, and we could not do this work without them.”

Tournament participants competed for more than bragging rights, with charitable donations of $5,000, $4,000, $3,000, $2,000, and $1,000 made in the names of the top five winners in support of the Easterseals NH Military & Veterans Campus. In addition, the biggest fish of the day was over 46” long.
