Watch U.S. Army Golden Knights and CEO Maureen Beauregard Take to the Skies!

Easterseals NH & VT President & CEO Maureen Beauregard took to the skies recently for military members and Veterans! The first time Maureen was invited to skydive with the U.S. Army Golden Knights, she made it all the way up in the plane before changing weather conditions canceled the jump.

It was Take Two, and this time, Maureen made the leap! Her jump is a powerful reminder of our commitment to military members, Veterans, and their families through the Easterseals NH Military and Veterans Campus and Veterans Count.

Watch the video to experience Maureen’s jump with her!

Military and Veterans Campus Breaks Ground on Phase II

On Tuesday, August 4, Easterseals NH broke ground on Phase II of its Military & Veterans Campus in Franklin, New Hampshire. Hundreds of Veterans, first responders, supporters, community leaders, elected officials, and partners gathered at the 15-acre campus to celebrate the milestone.

Phase II will add the Solinsky Equine & Recreation Center and the Empowerment Center, expanding access to equine-assisted services, recreation, service dog training, art and music therapy, care coordination, classrooms, and wellness programs.

Speakers included Easterseals NH leaders, members of New Hampshire’s congressional delegation, state and local officials, project partners, and community supporters. After the ceremony, guests toured the campus, met therapy miniature horses and dogs, and celebrated the U.S. Coast Guard’s birthday. Easterseals VT Post Permanency Program Offers Support to Families

Easterseals VT recognizes that some families formed by adoption or guardianship need support to be successful. A family’s needs usually change over time, along with the child’s development and the development of the family as a whole. Post Permanency services address the normative issues adoptive/guardian families face as well as the more significant issues that can arise when raising a child who has experienced a traumatic start in life.

Gary’s Story: Veterans Count Provides a Path to Permanent Housing

For years, U.S. Army Veteran Gary faced trauma, loss, addiction, homelessness, and health concerns. In 2023, he entered treatment at the former Farnum Center, now Easterseals NH Behavioral Health Services, where he connected with Veterans Count.

A Veterans Count care coordinator helped Gary pursue housing, access VA healthcare, and find resources. Support from Veterans Count and the Plummer Endowment also helped cover medical expenses, counseling, and other needs. After treatment, Veterans Count continued assisting with financial challenges, including car repairs that kept Gary connected to healthcare and vital services.

In June 2025, Gary was accepted into housing at the Easterseals NH Military and Veterans Campus in Franklin. He moved into his apartment on June 15.

Today, Gary lives independently in a safe, comfortable home. His journey shows what is possible when coordinated services, compassion, and determination help a Veteran build stability and independence.
