Easterseals NH & VT Unveils Updated Strategic Plan

Our mission, values, and four strategic pillars remain at our strategic plan’s foundation: Serve, Strengthen, Engage, and Advocate. Looking toward 2030, Easterseals NH & VT has identified six major strategic initiatives:

  • Strengthening our operations
  • Expanding early childhood education
  • Growing the Military & Veterans Campus
  • Planning for Residential & Educational Services
  • Exploring opportunities on New Hampshire’s Seacoast
  • Strengthening our work in Vermont

Our approach will unfold in phases, beginning with a strong organizational foundation, building additional capabilities, and expanding services and impact in thoughtful, sustainable ways. The strategic plan reflects where Easterseals NH & VT is headed and what we can achieve together. Every decision, act of service, and step forward helps to create greater possibilities for the people and communities who count on us.

Finding a Place to Grow at the Early Childhood Center of Excellence

Beth and Faith carefully considered their options when choosing childcare for their infant son, Henry. When they toured Easterseals NH’s Early Childhood Center of Excellence in Manchester, they immediately felt a sense of community.

“We just instantly felt like part of the community,” Faith said. “It’s not just drop your kid off and hope they do well. It’s how can we help them develop and learn along the way.”

Six months later, Henry’s days include sensory activities, stories, arts and crafts, and outdoor walks, all designed to support his development.

Just as important, Beth and Faith know his teachers understand who he is and what he needs.

“He is so loved here,” Beth said. “There is literally no place else we want him to be.”

A Navy Veteran Finds Home at the Military & Veterans Campus

Sean served in the Navy from 1986 to 1990, working in an engine room while stationed in Hawaii. Years later, he learned about the Easterseals NH Military & Veterans Campus through a group at the VA. He doubted he would ever have a chance to live there.

“I asked for help,” Sean says. Taking that step for himself mattered deeply. “I advocated for myself.”

When Sean first moved in, he stepped outside, looked around, and felt a chill. He was living in a place he once thought was beyond his reach.

Now, he walks daily with his service dog, Luke, and finds peace on campus. He feels safe enough to be vulnerable and ask for support. The reassurance that he deserves to be here brings emotion to his voice.

“I guess I’m home.”

Technology Hill Early Learning Center to Open Soon with Unique Brand Identity

Serving children from six weeks through age five, Technology Hill Early Learning Center will provide a secure, welcoming environment where children can learn and grow.

Register for enrollment by November 13 and you’ll be eligible for free extended care hours for a year. Enjoy the flexibility of early drop-off and late pick-up to help manage your busy life.

The center will be part of the Technology Hill community being developed by the Solinsky family. Easterseals NH was invited to be part of the project and will lease the early learning center space, creating an opportunity to bring high-quality early childhood services to families within this growing community.

Easterseals NH is honored to have been selected to operate the center and to contribute its experience supporting children and families. To reflect that role, Easterseals NH has unveiled a new visual identity for Technology Hill Early Learning Center, inspired by what families value most: a safe, welcoming, and playful place for children to learn, connect, and grow.

The new logo features colorful dots arranged around a larger center dot, a shape inspired by children gathering around a teacher. The circular design also suggests stability, safety, and connection, while bright sky blue, lime, coral, and yellow bring the energy and playfulness of early childhood to life.

Technology Hill Early Learning Center by Easterseals NH is expected to open in January 2027. Sign up by November 13 to secure free extended care for a year!

Easterseals Vermont Program Spotlight: Intensive Family Based Services

Easterseals VT’s Intensive Family Based Services (IFBS) helps children and families build greater safety and stability at home and in their communities. Working with the Vermont Department for Children and Families (DCF) and community partners, IFBS supports families at risk of separation, those preparing to reunify, and families who may be struggling and need additional support.

Services are delivered through a family-focused, strength-based approach. The program provides assessments centered on child safety and family needs, case management, family-directed plans of care, and support connecting families with schools, local service providers, and other community resources. IFBS also helps families strengthen their natural support networks and serves families who may not have insurance or access to Medicaid.

In 2025, Intensive Family Based Services served 107 families in Vermont, with locations in Burlington, Morrisville, Newport, and St. Johnsbury. Learn more about Easterseals VT at eastersealsvt.org.
