Manchester, NH – The 15th Annual Winter Wine Spectacular for Easterseals NH, sponsored by People’s United Bank and held at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester, attracted 1,500 attendees and played host over 60 wine personalities from all around the world on January 25. This event, made possible by the New Hampshire Liquor and Wine Outlets and more than 30 local restaurants and chefs, featured 1,800 quality wines. All proceeds from the evening will support young children, age birth to three years old, with disabilities or special needs served by Easterseals NH.
In the Bellman’s Cellar Select Room, guests had the opportunity to sample higher-end wines from around the world. Debbie Lane from Manchester, NH was the lucky winner of a diamond pendant necklace, valued at $1,995.
In addition to the raffle, the Winter Wine Spectacular included a silent auction, sponsored by People’s United Bank. More than 150 items including restaurant gift certificates, electronics, an African safari, sporting packages, overnight stays, spa packages, artwork, wine, and more were auctioned off to guests. The Silent Auction raised more than $21,000. Additionally, 10 people each one a case of wine, donated by our generous brokers, in the Tower of Wine raffle sponsored by DHL Supply Chain.
Guests also took part in the Cellar Notes Wine Seminar, “Women in Wine”. This portion of the event allowed for the guests to taste fabulous varietals from four of the industry’s leading female winemakers and vineyard owners. It took place at the Puritan Conference Center, and the proceeds benefitted Easterseals Early Supports & Services program as well.
