In May 2026, Ana was promoted to Easterseals NH & VT’s Chief Military & Veterans Services Officer, an executive leadership position that oversees the Easterseals NH Military & Veterans Campus in Franklin, NH, and the Veterans Count program. Prior to this, in December 2025, Ana joined the organization as Interim Program Director for the Easterseals NH Military & Veterans Campus in Franklin, NH.
Ana brings nearly 30 years of leadership experience spanning federal programs, military operations, and human services, with a strong focus on workforce development, behavioral health coordination, and mission-driven program delivery.
Before coming to Easterseals NH & VT, Ana served as Senior Program Manager for the New Hampshire National Guard’s Care Coordination Program, directing a statewide initiative that supports more than 6,000 service members and families annually. In this role, she led multidisciplinary teams, managed large-scale federal contracts, strengthened early intervention systems, and built partnerships across military, state, and community organizations. Earlier in her career, Ana held national and state leadership roles supporting military families through provider network operations, family readiness programs, and crisis response services. In addition to her public service leadership, McKenna is a multi-business owner with deep experience in organizational growth, financial management, and operations.
Ana holds a master’s degree in Project Management from the University of New Hampshire and a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. She retired from the United States Army in July 2025 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, following a distinguished career in logistics, leadership, and service.
