Welcome to Camp Sno-Mo in New Hampshire!
You’ll find that at Easterseals New Hampshire, we don’t talk about “special needs” very much. That’s because we’ve been welcoming youth with a broad spectrum of disabilities—including those with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, emotional disabilities, medical needs, mobility needs, and those who use wheelchairs—for over 30 years. Many of our campers also receive special education (SPED) services or have personal care needs. Our residential camp keeps children safe and engaged with a low camper/staff ratio and around-the-clock supervision, providing meaningful respite for families. Counselors know that each camper is unique, and they are ready to help each camper enjoy their adventure.

Before camp begins, counselors participate in two weeks of intensive on-site training and preparation. This training focuses on building trust, fostering teamwork, and learning how to support our campers with care and confidence.
Our staff are also trained to create an inclusive, respectful environment where every camper feels valued and encouraged to be themselves. We prioritize not only physical care but also emotional support, helping campers build lasting friendships, develop independence, and foster self-confidence throughout their camping experience.
Additionally, counselors receive specialized instruction on understanding diverse needs, safety protocols, and emergency procedures to ensure every camper’s well-being is always our top priority.

Sessions 1–7 are designed for campers aged 11–21 and follow a structured schedule, with programs led by Scouting America New Hampshire. These sessions offer up to 146 recreational activities, with a focus on small group and individual participation, and counselors providing full support.
Sessions 8 and 9 are designed for campers aged 21 and over and feature a more relaxed schedule that encourages independence. During these sessions, Scouting America New Hampshire programs are not in operation. All sessions include 24/7 nursing and staff support, with meals served in the Scout dining hall.
