Ted Krol was the Director of Facilities for Easterseals NH for over 10 years until his death in January 2010. Ted loved the Easterseals organization and was a dedicated and hard working employee. In May 2010, Building on Hope renovated the White House on Mammoth Road and renamed it The Krol House and dedicated it in Ted’s memory.
The Ted Krol “We Are Here to Serve Fund” is a way to continue to honor the spirit in which Ted led his life. He played many roles from husband, father, son, brother, uncle, coworker, coach, soldier, volunteer, and sports’ fan. He loved nothing more than to see young men and women experience success in life! Ted was always willing to volunteer and contribute to his community.
This Fund has been established to provide financial resources for the young men and women graduating from the Jolicoeur School. The money will be used to help individuals secure employment, education, or housing for successful transition into the community. The award dollars will cover items or services that include but are not limited to the following:
- technology resources to seek or obtain employment or housing
- startup costs for housing or employment (clothing, utilities, security deposit, etc.)
- counseling services
- transportation
- continuing education
Ted Krol led a very big life in a quiet, unassuming way. Taken too soon in life, Ted had so much more to contribute. The We Are Here to Serve Fund is a small way to carry on the work of Ted’s life. It’s named for Ted’s favorite saying to family and friends, “I Am Here to Serve!” So in his absence I would like to think “We Are Here to Serve.”
