Funds were raised to benefit over 23,000 New Hampshire neighbors that Easterseals NH serves
Manchester, NH – On Saturday, July 9, over 600 attendees gathered at the edge of Lake Winnipesaukee to cheer on participants in over 200 boats, personal watercrafts, and vehicles as they took part in the HK Powersports Land & Lake Poker Run. Easterseals NH has successfully raised $1.6 million over the event’s twenty-one-year history with a record breaking $130,000 raised this year. This directly supports its core programs for children and adults with disabilities and seniors throughout the Granite State.
“We are tremendously pleased with the high turnout for this year’s Poker Run,” said Kathy Flynn, Easterseals NH Sr. Director of Development. “We greatly appreciate the attendees, participants, business owners, sponsors, staff, and volunteers who made this all-ages summer event possible. Together, we made a difference for Easterseals NH and the neighbors we serve – and we had so much fun in the process.”
To close out the day, hundreds of attendees and participants enjoyed a beach party at The NASWA Resort’s NazBar, which included a live raffle, hot buffet, music, and entertainment under bright, sunny skies.
Cash prizes were awarded to two lucky Poker Run participants, and grand prizes from the raffle included a SeaDoo personal watercraft, a Saber grill, and an Old Towne canoe and kayak.
