Adult Day Manchester Goes to Beaver Brook Association

Easterseals NH Adult day manchester participants take a trip to Beaver Brook

Participants from Adult Day Manchester recently went on a special community outing, traveling on Easterseals NH buses to Beaver Brook Association in Hollis, NH. The visit sparked engaging discussions about rabbits and local wildlife in New Hampshire, with participants even getting the chance to hold rabbits.

This field trip is part of an ongoing partnership that has enriched activities throughout the year. “We have greatly appreciated our new partnership with Beaver Brook Association,” said Laurie Duff, Director of Senior Services. “From the very beginning, they were just as excited as we were to create a curriculum that provides meaningful experiences for our Adult Day Program participants.”

Beaver Brook has consistently designed multisensory lessons and activities, ensuring engagement for individuals of all ability levels. “Their team has a remarkable talent for inspiring curiosity, unlocking memories, and successfully connecting older adults to the natural world,” Duff added.

The trip concluded with a scenic outdoor picnic, where participants soaked in the beauty of springtime and, most importantly, enjoyed each other’s company.
