COVID-19 Update Regarding Easterseals NH Gammon Academy, Zachary Road Facility, from Maureen Beauregard, President/CEO of Easterseals NH, VT, ME and Farnum

Following the Governor’s latest recommendations of increased testing in all residential settings, we have tested residents and staff at Gammon Academy at our Zachary Road Facility in Manchester, NH. As a result of this testing, we have found 36 positive cases, the majority of who are asymptomatic. This number includes clients and staff. We continue to follow all CDC and Bureau of Infectious Disease Control guidelines for managing those residents who are affected. Our dedicated staff, equipped with PPE, continue to provide the care we have come to expect.

We continue to operate this residential facility. Our clients have no other option or accommodations available to them and continue to remain under our supervision and care.

Easterseals NH has always and continues to follow all CDC and Bureau of Infectious Disease Control guidelines for our residents and the staff who have committed to remain on the job and serve those who rely on us most. We cannot thank our selfless employees enough, who are part of our front line, for the work they continue to do, despite these challenging times.

For questions, please contact Nancy Rollins, Easterseals NH, VT, ME, and Farnum Chief Operating Officer at 603-490-0227.
