Multi-route ride to raise money for NH service members, veterans and their families
Manchester, NH – Registration is open now for the 4th Annual Veterans Count Ride to benefit service members, veterans and their families on Saturday, June 4, beginning at Sargent’s Park at Holman Stadium in Nashua. With a choice of a 10-mile, 30-mile, or 50-mile route, this is an event for cyclists of all abilities.
“We are grateful to the sponsors, staff and volunteers that make this event possible,” said Kathy Flynn, senior director of development for Veterans Count, the philanthropic arm of Easterseals New Hampshire’s Military & Veterans Services program. “It is heartwarming to see everyone coming together to help us provide more services to veterans and their families. Thanks to the generosity of riders and sponsors, we have raised over $330,000 since the event’s inception.”
In addition to a choice of routes, the Veterans Count ride has a virtual participation option. For an extra donation fee, participants can be entered into a raffle for a Trek Verve+ 3 electric hybrid bicycle donated by Goodale’s Bike Shop in Nashua. Veterans with disabilities can participate for free, and riders who raise over $500 will receive an official Veterans Count bike jersey.
