Easterseals NH is Powering Change Together at the 25th Annual
Eversource Walk & 5K Run for Easterseals on June 1
Since 1998, the Eversource Walk & 5K Run for Easterseals has raised over $3 million for Easterseals NH’s core programs
WHAT:
Presented by Eversource, Easterseals NH is excited to welcome back in-person participants of all ages and abilities to its signature annual fundraiser, The Eversource Walk & 5K Run, on Thursday, June 1, at Veteran’s Park in Manchester. This family-friendly event includes:
- Dozens of local vendors offering free demonstrations, giveaways, and more
- DJ
- A free Kids’ Run at 6 pm
- Walk & 5K at 6:20 pm
WHY:
Since 1998, Eversource has teamed up with Easterseals NH to raise over $3 million for Easterseals programs. These core programs provide opportunities and access for 19,000 people of all abilities. Easterseals NH offers a lifetime of care, with early intervention servipces setting the stage for success in school and life, youth-based programs to help ease the transition of adulthood, vocational and community-based programs that instill a sense of purpose, and compassionate care for senior adults to age at home with dignity.
WHEN:
Thursday, June 1
4:00 pm – Park opens – Wellness Ally is open – vendor tables, food trucks, face painting, Eversource bucket truck, Manchester Fire Truck, Relaxation Grove, and DJ.
5:30 pm – Opening Ceremony – Welcome from Easterseals NH and Eversource leaders on stage
6:00 pm – Free Kids’ Run begins
6:20 pm – Walk & 5K Run begins
