Manchester, NH— Easterseals NH & VT announced today the promotion of Mike Leary to Senior Vice President of Development, recognizing his leadership, collaborative spirit, and impact on the organization’s fundraising and relationship-building efforts since joining the organization in September 2024.

In his new role, Leary will lead the Development team and continue to advance Easterseals NH & VT’s philanthropic strategy, strengthening partnerships with donors, community leaders, and stakeholders across New Hampshire and Vermont.

Since his arrival, Leary has worked closely with the executive team, board members, senior leadership, staff, and volunteers to secure substantial donations and broaden support for the organization’s mission.

“Mike has made a remarkable impact in a short period of time,” said Maureen Beauregard, President & CEO of Easterseals NH & VT. “He has built strong, authentic relationships with our donors and community partners, and his leadership has already helped elevate our development efforts. We are thrilled to have him step into this expanded role and lead our Development team as we continue to grow our impact.”

Before joining Easterseals NH & VT, Leary built a distinguished career in education, working extensively with middle school and high school students as both a teacher and a tennis coach. He served for nearly a decade at The Derryfield School in Manchester, NH, where he was Chair of the World Languages Department and taught Latin and Humanities. Previously, he taught Latin and served as an academic advisor at Norfolk Academy in Norfolk, Virginia.

Leary holds a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies from Gettysburg College and a Master of Arts in Classical Studies from the University of Maryland.
