When Karin joined Easterseals NH Gammon Academy in July 2020, arriving on her first day having never seen the building due to COVID precautions, she was guided by one thing: mission. “I was so impressed by the mission and the team members I talked to that I took the leap,” she recalls. That leap has since led her from clinician to Director of Clinical Services, a role she describes as deeply meaningful.
For Karin, the heart of her work is the people. “The students are what bring us here, and it’s the students and the staff that make you stay,” she says. The chance to support a uniquely special population through both big milestones and small daily wins is what keeps her inspired.
Karin also values Easterseals New Hampshire’s strong commitment to personal growth. Mentored from the start, she now works to provide those same opportunities to her team, noting the unmatched learning that comes from partnering with a diverse, multidisciplinary group of professionals.
