24th annual event comes back to Veterans Park with a free kids’ run, live music and Wellness Alley
Manchester, NH — Easterseals New Hampshire is excited to welcome in-person participants back to its signature annual fundraiser, The Eversource Walk & 5K Run, on Thursday, June 2 at 6:30 p.m. at Veteran’s Park in Manchester. Eversource and Easterseals NH are once again teaming up to raise money for Granite State children, adults, and seniors of varied abilities. The family-friendly event kicks off with a free kids’ fun run at 5:30 pm. Wellness Alley, a highlight of past walks, is also back with dozens of local vendors offering free demonstrations, giveaways and more.
Over the years, the Eversource Walk & 5K Run has raised over $3 million for Easterseals NH.
“Eversource is pleased to partner with Easterseals for the 24th consecutive year for this important event to benefit people of all ages and abilities who depend on Easterseals’ services,” said Doug Foley, Eversource’s president of New Hampshire operations. “We’re proud to support the communities where we live and work by helping great organizations like Easterseals.”
“We’re grateful to have Eversource’s ongoing support and to bring this much-anticipated annual event back to downtown Manchester,” said Joe Emmons, Easterseals NH’s Chief Development Officer. “We’re excited to join our New Hampshire neighbors for a fun evening that benefits our programs and people in our community. And for anyone who can’t join us in person, we have a virtual option.”
