Manchester, NH – Hockey enthusiasts hit the Tri-Town Ice Arena for the Puzzle Cup Ice Hockey Tournament, formerly known as the Chatter Cup. Twenty-one teams competed in the tournament and together raised $43,900 to benefit Easterseals NH Autism Services. The Puzzle Cup’s mission is to build upon the inspiring work of the ten-year old Chatter Cup Tournament by raising funds to support families who live everyday challenged by autism.
The Puzzle Cup is a three-day weekend event filled with fun and excitement for the entire family, both on and off the ice. The weekend included kid’s games and activities, music, a silent auction, raffles, and competitive hockey for men and women.
“Hundreds of players and their families showed up to lend their support for people impacted by autism,” says Kasey Rouille, Easterseals Events Manager. “The funds raised are essential for our autism program to thrive and everyone was happy that we continued the tournament to support this very important program. Plans are already underway to make next year’s tournament even bigger!”
Easterseals Autism Services is an inter-agency collaboration that offers comprehensive, high-quality services to child and adults with autism. Services include treatment, sensory integration therapies, care coordination, family support, specialized programs, trainings and resources.
